WOYWW 125 - the lame, ironic one....

Oh irony of ironies.  The one week when something major has happened to my desk, I lose my WOYWW mojo AND I'm out every night for the rest of the week so know that I'm not going to get around as many desks as usual.

If I feel up to it, and have any time, I'll upload a picture later on.  Duly uploaded, just before midnight!

There are times when I have to smile though.  We're having a real week of "one-in-one-out" as a succession of teens and pre-teens (and even grandparents) troop through the house.  Friday night saw the unexpected arrival of the daughter of one of my BFFs.  Now, Debs is an amazing crafter, and her daughter is used to seeing all sorts.  First comment when she rang her Mum to let her know she'd arrived?  "Mum, you should see the drawers in the craft room...!!!"  ROFL.  Bless.  I'm glad she didn't mention the huge pile of junk that was on the desk at the time!

May see you on the hop, may not - all depends on how the show goes....  TTFN!

Sounds as though you are having a rather chaotic time. I am surprised that you even had time to post this week at all. Have fun with all your visitors.

I am hugely pleased to know this, and so sorry about the bend in the mount, even though I thought I had packed it well.. Post can be rather unpredictable, at least it was not red wine like I had throguh my box of calendars on Monday I suppose!

Love the comment of the craft room drawers! that is areal compliment:D love and God bless, Shaz in oz.x

See I get,

Shit - your Mother's room is more untidy than yours.

Oh my God

Where is the desk?

Is that Art?

Holy Crap can I borrow that?

and I reconcile myself to knowing

I stand No Chance of ever getting anyone to do any housework.

What shocks me is that they say this in front of me like I am not insulted by their lack of respect for my Creative Needs.

Of course cleanliness is next to godliness (if it is a kitchen or bathroom)

regarding the one in one out?

Maintain the dynamic equilibrium, or you could be over run.

I just got rid (not really the right word) of my house guests. I had them for four days and it does rather change the routine, that's for sure! Everything is somewhat back to normal now thank goodness! Thanks for the visit and have a wonderful week!

LOL! It takes a crafter or their offspring to appreciate craft stash huh?!

Busy then? Over committed I say!! I delight in trying to work out exactly qualifies as 'something major' to have happened to (or on?) your desk. Let's say they aren't totally wholesome ideas!

Hi Morti, thanks for coming and looking me up ... I'm not participating in WOYWW this week as I need to catch up with a lot of stuff so know I won't be able to visit folks. Yes, I am concerned that we haven't seen Ciara posting for some considerable time. Hopefully, we will hear something from her soon. Elizabeth x

Neat, neat neat desk... what's to criticise?
Ignore the rest of the unarty world and please yourself. Do what you want to do, go where you want to go.... are you singing now?

i'm going mad....cant remember if i posted a comment or not lol!
enjoy your visitors. My best comment was from my 5 year old nephew when he saw DD's first photo - you know the one with all the vernix. He asked if that was his cousin, when I replied it was indeed he said 'but....well...why is she all ...hmm...mouldy?' gotta love the honesty of children!

Crafters don't notice "junk"! It IS so hard to get around to all the WOYWW participants, isn't it? That's why I am SO late! lol
