I’ll just nonchalantly slide in here at the end of the day, to say hello and Happy Birthday to all of us. I’ve been back and forth with my blog, so I’ve not posted for all of the years but I’m still here!
It’s been a busy few weeks with family and life. Miss B got her extension and tomorrow is the big day... Other than that we’re all keeping well and... busy. But I said that already!
Thanks to family stuff I missed the last couple of Rudolph days but they’ll pick up again starting next week.
Here’s the desk....messy as ever. It will be cleared tomorrow, as I can’t miss out on the old ATC swap now can I?
A quick update on the stitching
The Mill Hill kit I showed you the start of was FFO’d (fully finished off) this morning...
Moose has been worked on but not by much!
The Peppermint Purple is up to date, apart from today’s release.
And Siren’s Lament has moved on a little, but not much either. Maybe a couple of thousand confetti stitches!
And lastly, we have a new start. This one is a bit cheeky, but if you fancy learning more, head over to my Flosstube and have a watch! You’ll find me at https://youtu.be/DPDar1-OCdg
That’s it - short and sweet. You’ll see me back here again in the near future, I can assure you!
Happy Hopping!

I enjoyed seeing you and your desk again. It's been forever since I was here to visit. I see the Mill Hill finished piece on your desk and I had to appreciate the beauty of the bead work, black work, and other stitching you are creating. Happy 12th Anniversary from # 10.
Morning Morti and welcome - happy WOYWW 12th to us all! Good to see you. the Mill Hill kit piece is beautiful. Helen #11
Hi Morti. Happy anniversary! Great work on the little finished picture - well done. That moose is just fabulous - love it. And the others are progressing - I'm impressed by how much you manage. My poor elderly eyes can only manage about an hour at a time these days - gone are the days when I could sit for hours at the cross stitch... The blackwork piece is beautiful.
Take care. God bless.

Happy 12th WOYWW! You have been hard of work with the old stitching, I simply do not know how you’re doing that Siren’s Lament without going cross eyed/potty...I admire your resilience, I don't’ have it, that’s for sure!! And it really appealed to me that the Title A Year in Blackwork is done in purple, lol! I know, I know.....it’s the technique not the colour but it made me laugh nevertheless!
I’d be happy to swap an ATC with you btw so will get one off in the post when the gales die down, it’s crazy here today.
Hugs LLJ 3 xx
Happy Belated 12th Anniversary WOYWW. You are my PIF. Had a quick look round to see where to contact you, but couldn't see an email address. Send me a message on Facebook Messenger (aliwadepembs) or email me at aliwadedesigns1971@gmail.com. I will get your ATC and postcard in the post tomorrow. Loving all your stitching. I have actually bought a cross stitch pincushion kit - not done any stitching for many years. Going to be a present for my mum. Ali x #33
All of your stitching is really lovely - that moose still captivates me every time I see him LOL!
I have no ATCs left to trade and I would feel shameful to accept one of yours with nothing to return. I am back to cleaning next week (once I recover from a pretty tough week) but maybe we can trade once I feel creative again!
Happy 12th Anniversary to all my desk-hopping mates!

Hi Morti - your stitching is stunning - I just love the moose - he has such a cute grin on his face - Happy WOYWW Anniversary Stay safe & well - see you next WOYWW - Cheers Maureen #26
My goodness, Morti, the embroideries are coming on by leaps and bounds! Lovely to see Mr. Moose with a proper face! The Siren's Lament one looks extreeeemely complicated to me - rather you than me! The effect is incredible.
Happy belated WOYWW,

Happy 12th Anniversary! That moouse slowly gets bigger and bigger! I love the witching stitching! If you wanna swap. I'm game! Stay Safe!! Keep crafting! ((Lyn)) #5
Hi Morti, happy 12th Anniversary. All I can say is wow to all the stitching / blackwood/ cross stitch you have on the go. My grandson is 8 and 1/2 and I haven't even finished his birth chart yet! Siren's Lament looks magnificent - but my eyes wouldn't let me tackle something like that. Have a lovely week, Heather xx #20
Aw, great that you checked in. Luckily, we hadn’t finished the virtual cake...!
Your stitchings do grow apace, they just don’t seem to to you! sirens lament was just some random colours not many blog posts ago, but now there’s some very moody movement going on! Fascinated that you seem to start every piece differently...top left, centre, text....crikey, how do you decide?!!!
Beautiful

Beautiful beadwork and cross stitch. I used to be quite obsessed with cross stitch but have quite a few UFO's in the stash. Happy 12th WOYWW! Better late than never! Elle #12
