Well, we were supposed to be away this week but thanks to a certain virus coupled with car troubles, we’ve ended up with a staycation.
So this week’s WOYWW doesn’t come to you from anywhere exotic but is instead from dull, grey Cornwall. Not even any sunshine today - although two days ago it was glorious! Typical!
Not a lot doing on the crafting front as Morti Mansions is getting a few little jobs dealt with, seeing as we’ve had to stay home.
I give you exhibit A.
Mr B is in the craftroom cum office, fitting a long awaited blind. You can see the two screens of my “office space”, sandwiched twist two craft desks. The next job in there is to move a socket to a more convenient position.
On the frame this week is the owl, probably a fair bit of progress there since last time I shared a shot. It’s nice to be working on this and finally getting it done and dusted, if I’m honest.
Lastly, I’ll share a picture I took on Monday. Not craft related but sunset on a section of North Cornwall coastline, nearest to me. FB friends will have already seen this so my apologies for the repeat..
I thought it was worth the share. The handsome chap on the right is Nubé, our Maremma/Italian Spinone cross.
Happy crafting one and all!

It's a lovely spot for a staycation, Morti. I know when you live in a place you can take it for granted but I can think of worse places.
Glad you are getting a few jobs done in your crafty space and your owl is looking lovely.
Enjoy your week and take care

Wow - its so funny as Cornwall is where we would go on holiday :) We usually try to stay in a cottage at Praa sands , my lot have all sorts of disabilities so much easier to stay in the uk. Hope you get all the odd jobs done and have some better weather - enjoy your time off. Soojay #17
Hi Morti
Sorry about the holiday, its a beep beep this damned virus isn't it! At least you live in a lovely part of the country and there are some nice places you can go for walks - and maybe a quiet walk on the beach somewhere isolated. You get better weather than we do up north too. Not many sunny days here. That photo os the sunset is beautiful, such a watery sunset that lights your little dogs face up so nicely.
Just think of all the jobs you get done in the home and you might have that little owl with a face next time you post us a photo. It really is looking rather lovely isn't it.
Hugs, Neet 14 xx
There are worse places to be but then I guess it's nice to have a change sometimes. It's a bit dull here in Lincoln today but it's a good excuse to stay in and blog for a while. Any tourists that are here will be uphill so at least we don't see them much and the walks around the county are vast so we don't see many people there either. I remember many happy familh holidays in Cornwall and the view looks just as lovely as ever and your friend is gorgeous too. Enjoy your break from work. Happy crafty woyww, Angela x10x
Nube is looking very handsome wistfully staring off into the distance! It's a lovely pic and exactly why we moved back to Wales. Hooray for having blinds up, it's the little jobs that have the best outcome sometimes! The owl cross stitch is going to be amazing, it's looking good already.

That is a stunner of a pic isn’t it. Days like that remind you why you’re working so hard to get the house together, huh. I laughed at the way you said the next job was just a simple relocation of a socket. OMG these things are never simple. Too much stuff to move or rearrange just for access to the new socket, or worse! I’m going to keep my fingers crossed for yoU! Real headway with the owl now, you are so patient!
Glad Mr B is keeping occupied (lol) I hadn't seen that sunset pic before (love the way FB decides which posts we see and which we don't!) so thanks for including it here. have a good week Helen #1
Sorry you missed your holiday. We have just got back from Spain and are now self isolating. Love your last photograph x Angela #24
Sorry you've ended up having to stay at home, but what a lovely part of the world to live if you have to do a staycation. Hope all the renovations go well and the car is sorted soon. The owl is looking great. Stay safe and happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #4
There are certainly worse places to stay at home for a holiday than Cornwall - beautiful! Love the photo. We are very fortunate as well, being in Glorious Devon (certainly glorious at the moment although we do get a LOT of rain!) - we have so much variety with the sea, the moors, river valleys, woods, rivers and streams, and agricultural land. The SW is hard to beat, isn't it.
Happy belated WOYWW,

Lovely sunset!
Sorry I am late visiting...
Stay safe and keep well
