WOYWW 172 - back to the desk....

Hellooo!  Welcome to WOYWW - and if you're clueless as to what I'm on about, head on over to Madame Julia's for all the deets and Mr Linky, should you be of a mind to join in too!

I've joined in again this week.  Not that I have much to report - the desk is tidy, so is the bed!  Wonder of wonders....  The pile of crochet squares is growing, slowly....

This week we had crop, and I managed to sort out two more pages of Project Life, plus a regular 12 x 12 layout.  My apologies for the terrible picture quality - my camera does NOT like taking photos indoors in the evening with flash/without flash.

The cross-stitch hasn't changed at all, so I won't bore you with an update!

Only a month until the big WOYWW crop, and Mrs Julia has said I can do a demo/tutorial on altered dominos.  I'll work out what the heck I'm doing and let you all know, but if you are coming on the big day and want to join in, I would suggest looking for some dominos now.  You want smooth plastic ones (or bone if you find them) in a light cream or white.  There's plenty available very cheaply on ebay if you don't already have some.

 Catch you around!

How encouraging to see your crochet pile grow. I guess you are going to make a blanket!
I look forward to the altered dominoes.

Hi Morti, missed you last week. Looks like your doing well on the crochet squares front and hats off for a tidy bed. My OH wonders what the point is of making them as "you're only going to get back in it later!! dohh!!" Mind you, this is the man who would live his life surrounded by piles of stuff just to have it close to hand. Anyway, so excited for you to hear you are leading a session at the crop. And no wonder, your dominoes are to die for. Hugs, Buttons #79

It’s a shame we didn’t see an update on your cross stitch Morti, I would love to how it’s coming along. Still, the old crocheted square pile seems to be growing well and you’ll soon have enough for that blanket. I’ve not done any crocheting for years except for the odd flower for a card.

Happy Crafting!

I can't wait to see you at the crop. I'll be the one asleep from the early start! I think your desk looks amazing: tidy but still interesting. An amazing balance that I want for my desk!

Thank you for stopping by and making me think of French boudoirs.

Lots of interesting things to see here. Great storage with all those wee drawer things. Is that blue cloth on the back of the chair for polishing windows? - surely not - you'll be far too busy crafting to waste time doing that!!
