Good morning my fellow lovely WOYWWers! Welcome back to the Mad Ramblings blog, and to another Wednesday's post. For all the details head over to The Stamping Ground here where our lovely Julia will have all the deets....
So! This week, progress on many fronts.
If you remember from a couple of weeks back, I mentioned Rudolph Day. Well, that was two days ago and...ta-dah! Two Christmas cards.
Might not seem like much, but it's kind of a big deal here. Now to keep it going.
So, the desk itself is showing signs of a creativity aftermath - or craftermath as I've seen it referred to elsewhere. LOL
Stitching wise, we have a lot of progress. The spoon has gone home to the memorial maker. Finished off the rose, added a few twisty vines and some freehand embroidery to look like handwriting at the bottom.
(If you're really interested, I have a Flosstube here where you can watch me being an idiot on YouTube)
Christmas Moose has moved on a little....
And we have started a Mill Hill charmed ornament, Dracula. Hehehehehe.
The big movement is on the HAED (Heaven and Earth Designs) project, Siren's Lament.
I really disliked how untidy it looked, doing full cross stitches on such tiny fabric. So, I swapped out to doing just tent stitch (half crosses) and am much happier with the result. And as you can see, major progress. I should get it completed in double time as well!
So the next couple of weeks will be about getting down to stitching and other creativity, see if I can't shift some of the lurking projects that are around.
Oh - and Morti Jr sent me a photo of her in her jumper, for me to share with you ladies...
Happy Hopping!

Love all the stitching, of course, but I am totally going to share that jumper with a crochet-friend who will love it! Can't recall the specifics (who made it, where the pattern is) so will try to read back and collect the info that way. My memory is shocking!
Happy WOYWW - NOT at the hospital today but with a thumping headache yet determined to WOYWW nonetheless! Best day of my week…

There’s lots to love on your blog this week - the cards are gorgeous, I like the trad one very much, and the cross stitch pieces are fab and so varied! The moose’s big cheesy grin made me laugh a lot and the skull jumper is fab and very beautifully modelled too.

The jumper looks great Diane. Well done on the two Christmas cards - double my total for this year so far lol. The tent stitch looks good too and as it comes together quicker a win, win. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
You've had a productive week with fingers in lots of pies! I love the finished jumper - well modelled too by Morti Jr! I do love big sloppy jumpers. I laughed at your comments about the paint. Glad I was able to amuse. Take care, stay safe. Helen#1
That is one very special jumper, bet she loves it know I would. The cards are gorgeous too. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x
Oh my life!!! I LOVE that jumper! I can see why she loves it. Well done on the HAED project too - it would have been easy to go along with it and never feel happy with it. Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #10
Morti, I love the finished spoon! It really is so pretty to me! and I LOVE LOVE the Christmas Moose!! He is too stinking cute! That little Dracula is cute as well! I haven't stitched in years, but I do remember the time it took to do a piece, so bravo to you! Blessings and stay safe and healthy! Felicia #28
Well done3 for doing Rudolph Day! All my Christmas stuff is away at the moment, due to come out again in a week or two. I have to put it away when not in use or I can't move. Maybe though I could leave out some stamping to do each Rudolph day.... there might be a plan in there!! Reallky love the jumper, and what a beautiful model, Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, Cindy xx #8

Fabulous selection of photos and interesting things going on, but Morti junior's photo and jumper are the best! Happy belated WOYWW. Take care and stay safe, with love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#14)
Well done with keeping all those projects on the go. You will get on quicker with tent stitch, such tiny squares! The spoon looks brilliant, I am afraid I have forgotten what it was for. Your daughter looks lovely in her jumper. Have a great week Angela #15
Hi Morti! I love all your stitching! I used to do a lot of cross stitch back in the days when I cold see small things properly...your Christmas card is gorgeous! And Morti Jr looks lovely in her skull jumper! Have a great week, and stay safe! Lindart #34
Lovely cards, Morti, and Morti Jr's jumper is a triumph. It reminds me a bit of my Totnes crochet top that I've had for more years than she has probably been alive... One day I must try making one. I've never done much with fillet crochet and it looks really fun. Your embroideries are all coming on apace too - great to see Mr. Christmas Moose starting to make an appearance, and the blue one is going to be interesting. Great idea to do tent stitch. Your long-and-short stitch on the spoon is brilliant. I could never master this stitch - it always looks a mess when I attempt it.
Happy belated WOYWW,
