WOYWW 133 - Merry Christmas to All!

So here it is.  The Christmas edition of WOYWW.  In honour of the occasion, here is a slightly blurred, but very sparkly looking photo of my Christmas tree.  I would have shown you a picture taken with flash, but that just ruined the festive look.  So you'll have to go with the mellow yellow version.  LOL.

So what is on my workdesk this Wednesday?  For those who are new to the phenomenon created by the ebullient Ms Budd, go to The Stamping Ground for all the deets and the funky roadmap that is the great and wonderful Mr Linky.  And I can honestly say, having sampled the delights last evening, that the sheet cake was truly yummy.  Thanks Julia!

My desk. Oh ROFL.  What do we have here?  Well, yes, this isn't Wednesday's photo, but Tuesday night's, and it appears I have another squatter.  This time Mr B is at it, making a pop out Christmas card for his parents, to deliver tomorrow.

My desk this week has been a  lap tray in the lounge because that has been the most comfy place to work.  I've still not finished my charmed stocking but I have, er herm, managed to bead two other baubles for ladies who I am honoured to call my friends.  Said baubles have been safely delivered, but I didn't managed to finish them in time for a photo opportunity.  You'll just have to take my word for it that they sparkled elegantly, and hanging on the recipients' trees look like...er... baubles.  Fab!

Thank you all for your warm wishes regarding my op.  I've been poked, prodded, stitched and bruised, and am due to make my second attempt to return to work tomorrow (the first being a bit of a fail because I wasn't really well enough, naivety and optimism leading me to think I was...LOL).  The surgeon has found and dealt with one issue on my insides, we just have to wait three months to see if it's worked, and if not, try a different tack.  Joy joy.

Here's to wishing you all a very merry Christmas and see you at Betwixtmas if not before - I will endeavour to do a WUYCT (What's Under Your Christmas Tree) for Christmas Day!

See you on the hop!

Love your tree, it looks so pretty in it's mellow yellow version! Good on Mr B making a card and not asking you to do it for him! Hope all goes well for you, and have a Happy Christmas.

Lovely tree and hope the squatter moves out of your way soon! although crafting on a tray in the lounge does sound a very nice alternative! Have a wonderful Christmas. Sunshine Girl – No 38

Beautiful Christmas tree Morti! I see your squater actually sits at the desk and does some work. I thought for awhile mine was just wandering around checking out what I bought till he started borrowing! Hope you and your family enjoy a Merry Christmas holiday. Thanks for sharing. Vickie #44

Hope you made it to work (if that's the place you really wanted to be) and that you soon begin to feel much better and that the results are good. Thanks for the Christmas tree picture, always difficult to photograph (well, my point and shoot photography says so)and so a Wish for a Very Happy Christmas to you and yours. Hugs, Neet #4 xx

Like the idea of a What's Under Your Tree show and tell. I get to open my 'lucky dip' parcel from LB Crafts close-down sale so hoping that will make a good one.
Obviously very crafty in your family if you can get Mr B to make his own cards. My Mr B would think I'd gone a bit odd if I suggested he do the same.
Have a brilliant Christmas and a scintillating New Year.

Your lovely Christmas tree is all the more migical for being slightly blurry, the flash just ruins it. My desk is hijacked often, but I've yet to catch him in the act, but I know he goes in there, especially when the punches are in the wrong drawer or the line of Stickles is knocked over! He always blames my House Mouse stamps getting up to no good!! Have a wonderful Christmas, hope you get lots of rest and recuperation and that you don't need any more hospital visits.

Hi Morti, I'm impressed to see Mr B takin over your desk and making a card - the EM treats my room as my sanctum sanctorum and would not be seen near it - and as for making a card ... well ... no, it's not going to happen :)) I hope you and your have a very merry Christmas and a happy holiday.
