WOYWW 126 - WHOOOOOO

Except it's not that scary, really.  Welcome to WOYWW, the global phenomenon started by our marvellous Mrs Dunnit.  The lady who has single-handedly brightened our "over-the-hump" day by giving us a glimpse into the chaos that our fellow crafters live in.  At least this way we don't feel alone, and we have our own little support group, eh?  Hehehehe.

Not that my space is chaos.  No siree.  I'm still basking in the glow of the "just moved in and got it tidy" feeling.  That, and a lack of time this week to do much other than lay out the remains of a Mill Hill Charmed Stocking that I'm trying to finish before Christmas this year (seeing as I started it before Christmas last year.  Whoops!) so it will make it onto the tree in time.  LOL.  We live in hope.  One bright note though is that I emailed Mill Hill when I discovered they'd not provided enough of one type of bead - and they duly supplied me with plenty along with a profuse apology.  Go Mill Hill!

There's also not a lot of point in doing anything else as we have another crop this weekend.  Yay!.

So, here's my desk....

Other highlights this week include being the prompt for a play our new AmDram/Panto society were doing, auditioning for the next panto (that was an experience and a half) and in amongst that attending a children's halloween party at Mr Hat's house as well as sending the brat Lil Miss B (she's not really a brat but I bet it made you smile) out trick-or-treating.  As you can see, she likes to stand out in a crowd.... I don't think I need to point out which one she is, eh?

Well, hopefully I'll get round a few more of you this week than last - this week we have no visitors, no rehearsals, no Halloween..... hang on, how many days did you say it was till Christmas...........................???????

Hip Hooray, *cheers*, woo hoo!! And other general well-done-ness from me for the amazingly tidy desk. Wow, what a change since I last saw it, you must have worked like crazy to get that all sorted out :)
Nice costume, lil Miss B - a lady in red, huh?? Looked great :)
Blimey, you haven't let the grass grow under your feet, have you?? Did you get a part in the panto, hope you did then I can come to watch and shout 'He's behind you....!!'
Hugs, LLJ xx

Hey Morti, long time no see! Your new house is beautiful and I can appreciate the smugness of getting everything square, I'm always rearranging - I read once that it means I'm a perfectionist... I just think it means I can't make my mind up!

You look very installed an embedded now I must say - even got the electrics rigged up to suit..score. Miss B looks very grown up, that's the scariest part!

Hi Morti! YES I have to shut everything away behind closed doors ... mainly because I don't have a little room to dedicate entirely to crafting ... this way I just grab what I need and it is all to hand. One cupboard was supposed to be for my hubby to use ... er, it just didn't happen! X

Your daughter looks lovely! I must admit, if a company responds like that when there is a problem, I will go out of my way to buy from them again, and spread the word far and wide!
Lovely tidy desk.
Happy WOYWW

Hi Morti, me again! Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. He he he!! We can't ALL have all the good ideas, now can we!! I am not scanning everything - some of them I am copy typing as Word documents - I only scan the stuff with pictures that I want to keep. It's taking me years to do it all but I keep at it - in fits and starts lol! As for the redrawing of the cut files, that's really fun to do - I enjoy using my drawing program and creating (and uploading) my cut files so that others can share them.

Those costumes are awesome, and they all so pleased with them. I hope you get your project finished this year. I have been working on squares for the 12 days of Christmas for the last four years (cross stitch). Maybe, I should aim for next year. They are not large images, so I usually do them in the caravan, but we did not get away much this year (That is my excuse and I am sticking to it).
