WOYWW 174 - Happy October!

Wow – where IS the year going? 4 weeks to Halloween..... I’m not even going to count down to Christmas, it would scare me too much!
Well, the reason I’m here, and you’re here, is because it’s a Wednesday and it’s WOYWW.  If you don’t know about it – head here to the Great JD’s desk, where you will find all the deets and Mr Linky.
Once again, not a lot of change from me.  You can the domino I've been working on for The Big Crop, and also a Christmas card.  Yup, a Christmas card.  I'm partly doing it for the Sketch Saturday challenge, and partly because I need to pull my finger out and get making some cards to sell at work.  Yay.  I also did two more squares for the pile this week. This blanket is going to take me a while.....

None of the bits on the card are stuck down yet (hence the wonkiness) as I'm not sure I'm happy with it.  In fact I'll go so far as to say I'm NOT happy with it and don't know what to do to put it right.  Watch this space...
Here’s an update on the cross-stitch, for those that are interested...

And a gratuitous shot of Mr B out with the dogs and me on Saturday...

So, there you, brief as brief can be, or at least my version of it!  Catch you in a comments box near you!

Juggling lots of balls again Morti:) Keep piling up those squares and you'll be warm for winter. Glad to see someone else who has to mess around with a card for some time before it works. Good luck with that. The cross stitch is coming along nicely and the 'pack' are adorable. They look equally well capable of keeping you warm in winter!! Hugs, Buttons #57

Hmmm. I am particularly interested in the domino. I am going to try altering one for my buddy Leigh's domino art Halloween extravaganza. Your domino looks really good.

The cross stitch is fab. I am not much help with the card I am afraid. Someone said only 80 something days till Christmas - Don't panic!! I really must think about a design for my cards this year. x Jo

Actually, I really like the elements of the card, think it's rather funky!! And that's a fab pic of Mr B - you can hire your dogs out at Christmas, you'd make an absolute fortune!!

Am bringing my dominos. I have all shapes, types and sizes. I haven't let the drill near them as I am still too nervous.
Busy desk. Lots of creative stuff going on. Haven't joined in this week as I am in Ghent for an event called Scraptastic.
Donna Downey will be here too.

Hopefully I will have photos to share by the weekend.

Hi Morti
Yes it's going to be a busy day. Quite happy for you to go first and I will do my bit in the afternoon, I would like to do the domino too. If you are bringing beads you will need double delicas or small cubes or size 8's and two colours of seed beads and feature beads for the fringe. I can supply everything else you need.
looking forward to meeting on Saturday
